I can’t deal with this anymore. The complete delusion and utter stupidity of the religious needs to be dealt a heavy hand. If you are a Christian, you must at least accept a few things as true from this list:
- Immaculate conception
- Virgin birthing
- Talking snakes & donkeys
- A bush on fire that doesn’t burn and god comes out of it
- Angels and Demons
- Resurrection
- Dragons, Cherubs, Golems, Leviathan & Satyrs
- Miracles performed by Jesus
The problem that you are faced with here, is that in accepting any of these things you are admitting that you believe crazy shit because all of that is absolutely bat shit crazy. There is no argument that you can make for you to seem sane in believing any of these things.
Now, the reason for all this is because of the current debate around gay marriage. It seems that Christians believe they have some right over marriage. They think Christianity invented the idea of marriage and this gives them the right to be bigoted fuck-wits. It is horrible to deny someone a right because of their NATURAL sexuality. There is no choice when it comes to sexuality, you are born that way.
If Christians want to use their ancient book written by Middle Eastern goat herders as a means to discriminate against people because of their nature, then they better follow all of its rules. In Leviticus where it says “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” Is the same chapter that says it is an abomination to eat pigs and shellfish. So you better stop eating those things because according to your God; eating pig or shellfish is equivalent to homosexuality.
Now fuck off, Christians, and let humanity grow beyond the deluded restraints of religion.

For those who do not know who Peter Madden is please watch this video. It will also make the following much more understandable.
Yes, I am happy that an atheist in a De facto relationship is in power. I think it’s fairly overdone to say she did it through craft and manipulation. I’m not sure what he means by craft though, considering the definition of craft is “skill in an occupation or trade.”
Are The Greens Paganistic? I am certain they are not called the Pagan Democratic Party. I would be annoyed that the greens are fighting for equality if I was a ludicrous Christian too.
The Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras only attracts drunken youths in the hundreds of thousands, there are no sober youths or drunken/sober adults. While these drunken youths are at the gay Mardi Gras they will be incited with all manners of lust and filth, apparently. Meanwhile they could be incited with lust and filth at home while reading the bible. I do not exactly know where Madden receives his information but I would guess that most people would view the Mardi Gras as being about love and equality.
I am not surprised he does not sway from his ignorance at all. He follows the same crazy idea that birth begins at contraception as the rest of the nonsensical religious zealots. Hopefully he does not have the belief that condoms are against his god’s word. Otherwise he would be responsible for a lot of murders. Miscarriages occur often, even without anyone knowing.
I believe the dark times of our nation are receding as the black cloud of religion shrinks away beyond the horizon. I do not really understand what “moral depravity” is. I think he needs to look at a dictionary instead of reading the bible and listening to speeches by fundamentalist Christians. I think he may mean non-Christian values by “moral depravity”. Is it sexual immorality (I have no idea why it needs to be preceded with sexual) for consenting adults to perform a sexual act? I see no immorality when faced with this conversation:
The first man says, “May I please put my penis into your anus?”
The second man responds, “You certainly may.”
I use men in this example because I am without a doubt that he is mostly offended by men having sex with each other. I also do not find it immoral for him to enjoy having sex with lots of women, including paying women for sex. There is no immorality if everyone is consenting. There may be more in depth moral questions relating to why some of these women are having sex for income but that is another topic.
His rant just goes on with unfounded accusations of what occurs at this event. There are many bizarre ideas held by him with no evidence to back it. Is there violence at the Mardi Gras? If there is I would be surprised if it is caused by people celebrating the event.
We need to look out for that “militant homosexual lobby.” You know the one… they fight for the right for homosexual couples to adopt children, be married and have the same rights as heterosexual couples. Meanwhile the non-militant Australian Christian Lobby fights against all of these things. They are also campaigning against abortion and euthanasia (no matter the situation), R18+ games, prostitution, ethics classes for non-religious students, etc. They are campaigning for Internet censorship, Christianity in the school curriculum, prayer in parliament, etc. Who’s militant?

It has been good to hear that Peter Madden’s brother (also Christian and straight) is fighting against this silliness. He even took part in the Mardi Gras to make his objections to his brother’s opinions known. There was also another rally that was called a “Pash Protest.” This involved straight men and women pashing each other in the same location Madden’s rally was held. My understanding of sexuality be it Homo or Hetero is it is all normal. Just look at one of our nearest relatives in the animal kingdom, the Bonobo, they are a fully bisexual species. Madden is another of the idiots that makes my view of destroying religion, and all the bad that goes with it, that much more sensible.
